In response to the growing population of the Plaine‑Monceaux at the beginning of the 20th century, it was decided to build a new church. It was constructed from 1911 to 1913, with an entrance at 15 Rue Ampère, according to the plans of the architect Eugène Ewald. A long corridor provides direct access to the old church.
D2The instrument was built by Charles Mutin in 1920. From 1978 to 1982, the organ was rebuilt by Adrien Maciet in a neo‑baroque style: all harmonic flutes, gambas and undulating stops were removed, the expressive box of the Positiv was eliminated, and mutations and mixtures were added. In 2003, Pierre Maciet carried out a full overhaul, completely dismantling and carefully cleaning the instrument, while adding a Cromorne stop.
